Community Services Request

Request a member of our Community Services Unit for your upcoming event or function.
Community Services Officers are generally used for (this list is not exhaustive):

Attending community events, fairs, and festivals

Providing safety presentations to schools, businesses, and civic groups

C.R.A.S.E. / Active Aggressor Training

Participating in neighborhood meetings and block watch programs
-
Giving tours of the police department
-
Engaging in youth outreach programs (e.g., D.A.R.E., safety talks)
-
Building positive relationships between the community and the police department
Community Services Officers are not used for:
-
Providing event or personal security
-
Attending private parties or celebrations (weddings, birthdays, etc.)
-
Participating in events centered on alcohol (bars, taverns, alcohol-only festivals)
-
Endorsing or participating in political events, campaigns, or rallies
-
Situations that present safety concerns or fall outside the department’s mission
Exceptions to these guidelines may be granted only at the discretion of the Chief of Police.
Provide your contact information, event details, and expectations for the event. An officer will follow up with you within three (3) business days. Please note: this is not a request for security, and while we’ll do our best to accommodate every request, we cannot guarantee an officer’s presence at all events.
